If you live in the North Tipperary area and are a beekeeper or interested in beekeeping, then joining our association will really help you develop your bee keeping knowledge and skills.
Members can attend our monthly lectures and demonstrations, find help from other experienced beekeepers in the area, avail of our library and enjoy a great social athmosphere and chat that follows all meetings over a cuppa. Members receive an annual subscription (11 editions) to “An Beachaire”, the Irish Beekeeping magazine and are covered by the Federation of Irish Beekeepers public liability insurance policy.
The association has it’s own apiary which is used for demonstrations.
Joining the Noth Tipp Beekeepers association is easy.
Just come along to one of our meetings and look for the Treasurer or send a cheque for €70 – payable to the North Tipperary Beekeepers Association – along with your name, address, email address and phone number to our Treasurer at their address.
If you have not renewed for this year, please do the same. Remember, you are only covered on the public liability insurance policy from 1st Jan to 31st Dec each year. There is no grace period. Also, you need to renew to continue to receive ‘An Beachaire’.
Associate memberships are welcome from members of other beekeeping associations.
Postal memberships will receive an email confirmation as receipt. If you have any queries, full contact details are available here.
Come along to one of our events – you will be most welcome!
I’m just starting and wish to join. Is the meeting being held on 17 July?
Also need some bees
